Elsie Dickerson with Beaus Black Velvet
Elsie and Velvet had a great 2013. As well as winning the MQHA All Around Championships for 13 and Under and Novice Youth, she is also AQHA Youth Justin Rookie of the Year for Montana. Oh, and let's not forget 4-H where she won 5 buckles at the State Show this year.She also won the essay contest in the Young Riders Magazine and won a Rambo blanket for Velvet. Elsie will be busy indeed in 2014 with Velvet and her 13th year birthday present Sophie.

Maria Jerome with Ambitious To A Te
Hefner had a great first show season, asMQHA winner of High Point in Amateur and Open 2 Year Old Halter, Reserve in Novice Amateur Showmanship. He earned his first AQHA trophys in halter as well as winning the AQHA Amateur Justin Rookie of the Year Award for Montana. Hef and Maria had a great show in Rapid City at the Region 2 AQHA show earning a couple buckles in halter. They qualified for Novice Amateur show in Vegas for 2013 and 2014. Hef also picked up some points in APHA shows, gotta love the double registration. Maria has started him under saddle and will be showing in pleasure and trail in 2014.

Tracy and Jeff Brown with Sexy Sox N Chocolate
Tracy and Sexy Sox N Chocolate, aka "Stanley" had quite the year. Tracy finished up with MQHA's year-end award for All Around Novice Amateur Rider and Stanley won MQHA's year- end award for High Point Green Horse Western Pleasure.
The Brown's trotted along to South Dakota to become AQHA Region 2 Champion
for Select Amateur Showmanship and AQHA Region 2 High-Point All-Around
Select Amateur Rider,coming home with a buckle, saddle, blanket and al kinds of prizes AND they qualified for the 2014 AQHA Novice Amateur
Championship Show in Las Vegas. Stanley recieved his ROM for Performance and ROM for Amateurs and a certificate for AQHA Amateur Select AllAaround. All
of this was accomplished with a lot of hard work and the support of that great show-husband Jeff.

Those Riddle gal's, Kathy and McKenzie with
mother, Missy's Hard to Beat, and son, Diego
There are lots of changes in McKenzie's life with college and living out of state. She and her mare, Lily,
still managed a couple of shows this season. Lily is happy to be back at KHC this winter.
After many years of being "Show Mom", Kathy decided to try it herself with 4 year old Diego. With support from family and friends they had an awesome first year in the open shows ."He's so amazing and relaxed in the trail classes, it's our favorite part of showing" !

The Kissock ladies
Joani and her girls Erin and Britt had a great year. Erin with Itsnowonder (Dennis) qualified for AQHA Amateur World with over 100 points in Showmanship and 40 points in Huntseat Equitation and Britt with Theres No Limit (Mel) qualified for 2013 AQHA Novice Amateur World and winning the MQHA All-Around Champion for Amateurs. Joani along with helping everyone with everything also found time to show Good and Lazy (Uncle Phil) in there favorite class, trail. She and Phil placed first in MQHA 's Year-end Awards for Green Horse Trail with 125 point and by the end of the year Phil earned 66 AQHA points. |

Those Loves, Aislynn and Janene with Minute of Fame and How About This Zipr |
After a great 1st year of showing together Aislynn and Minute of Fame, aka Timmee, put the topper on the cake by becoming a finalist in Youth Performance Halter at the 2013 Novice Amateur Championship in Vegas.
They will be showing in Novice Youth showmanship, hunter under saddle, and equitation in 2014.

Janene and How About This Zipr, (Mercedes), had a limited but successful show season in 2013.
They will be showing in showmanship, trail and hope to get in some halter classes this year..

Trish Welnel and Struck by Gold
Trish and Marley were busy doing lots of training but not much showing in 2013. However, they did get to a couple of shows; in South Dakota at Region 2 they placed in the top 10 in SMS and HUS qualifying for the 2014 Novice Amatuer Championship Show and then in Vegas at the 2013 Novice Amatuer Championship Show placed in the Top 15 for Aged Gelding at Halter.

Karmann and Chance
Karmann has only been riding since April and on Chance since August 2012. Chance is a chestnut gelding and is a Special Riders horse which she leases. She and Chance arehaving a great time!

Mariya and Rocky went to the 4-H show at the Silver Bow County Fair and came home with the Grand Champion Ribbon for the level one walk trot class! |
Kaia has two horses Luv and Dutch and worked with and showed a yearling named Tacori for a friend.
Luv is an overo paint. She is good at hunter under saddle or jumping. Dutch is a dun American quarter horse. She hasn't owned him very long. They do showmanship, English, and Western. She'll be working hard to have a successful and enjoyable 2014!
